I bought this game knowing perfectly what I was going to get, since I had already completed all 3 games before. For those who haven’t played any or some of the Metroid Primes, I guarantee you will not be disappointed. First of all, they all retain the incredible mood and atmosphere from Super Metroid. The pacing, however, while perfect in the Prime 1, is not as good in Prime 3, and is pretty broken in Prime 2. Metroid Prime 1 by itself is very well worth $50 today and everyday, but getting all 3 games for the same price is really something you should not pass up on. That doesn’t mean that Prime 2 and 3 aren’t good either; They are excellent games in their own way (all 3 Prime games are different when it comes to game design), and very well worth getting. In short, you shouldn’t even be reading a review for this game, if its there and you have the money, then you should have already clicked “add to cart”. There really aren’t many games out there, for any console, better than this.

Wow! what a great game! I just bought a used copy at a local game store for only 50 bucks (what a deal) and I sure am glad I did. First off, I can tell the developers took a lot of time in making this game. There are a lot of attentions to detail like being able to scan rooms with the visor. You can use this scan mode to gain information about various things and objects in the rooms. This is great because it helps develop the story line and makes the game that much more interesting. The combat works excellent. It is very easy to lock on to targets, strafe and launch missiles. Other controls like moving samus around while in “ball” form is very smooth and just plain fun to do. The graphics are sharp and clear. The sounds are really good too. Overall, its a very fun game to play and i highly recommend it!

Great collection of games. I don’t understand why Nintendo doesn’t release NEW copies of this game! retrolio was the ONLY place I could find a copy.

I am not much of a console gamer, this was a gift for the kids. They just love it!! Not only have they played a lot (within their game play time limits of course), they’ve had several Metroid playdates at our house or have taken it to their friends’ house for sleepovers.

it was new in the packaging although the instruction booklet was folded and a little bit torn and i am also not sure about the club Nintendo pin it didn’t seem to work for how many times i put it in

  6. BoldKING

I was really happy that it came a day early, and also that it did come in the metal casing! Brand new disc made my day as well! Can’t wait to beat 1 and 2 again! Finally be able to play Corruption!! XD

Purchase is as described and in very good condition. By far the fastest delivery of all my purchases made on retrolio. I bought this game for my nephew and he clearly enjoys it, even the whole family gets into it. Overall great service and product.

Each of this 3 games it’s wonderful but all of them on one disc and the price of one is awesome.Todos los Metroid son excelentes juegos, pero tener todos en una edición especial en un solo disco es algo que un fan de la seria Metroid no debe perderse.En adición el nuevo control aporta mucho a la experiencia jugable

This game pack was great. I have played every Metroid version produced so I would be considered a fanboi but I think that anyone who likes either Metroid or FPS games will like this game. There is a lot of exploring and backtracking over existing areas to uncover new aspects with you newly aquired items so they do a good job of using the same environments. The Multiplayer is meh but everything else is good. The upgrades from the Gamecube on 1 and 2 are noticable and play well with 3.

Since this is three games, the only fair way to do a review is a mini-review of Prime 1, 2, and 3, then mention how they work on the Wii.Metroid Prime 1 is one of my favorite games of all time, even in a gaming career of thirteen years. The graphics for the day were top notch (and still well above average), the music is both ambient and engaging, and the gameplay is top notch. There’s a wide world to explore, epic bosses, a host of puzzles, and plenty of spare Missile Expansions and Energy Tanks for the completionist in you.Metroid Prime 2 had increased textures and graphical detail, and a wider world to explore. Unfortunately it suffered from some linearity and sometimes very long backtracking sequences forced on by the Light-Dark world mechanics. Its difficulty was knocked up a notch or three (Boost Guardian, arg! You’ll know what I mean…) But that said, it had some unusual bosses, some great locales, and a more than passable action-adventure experience behind the visor of Miss Aran.Metroid Prime 3 used the Wii’s controls to expand on the shooting elements of the first two games, giving a push in the action genre. But the graphics were improved from Prime 2 and new additions included ship control and stackable beam weapons. Still it kept with the tradition of Primes before it and excelled, even if it was more straightforward than the others. Each of these games alone were worth $50 upon release, and I believe they’re still good enough to warrant that price. But p.
