The sheer amount of content they added to P4G compared to the original is huge. they even modified things like the appearance of the shadows to look better. If you are new to Persona, this might be the best game to jump in, as it allows more customization and control compared to the others.P4G is a J-RPG that has turn-based combat, though the game is much more focused on the characters and your interaction with them than the combat, even if the combat feels much more different than most other J-RPGs, where it is much more "high-risk high-rewards".The game is quite long as well, with a single playthrough easily taking 100 hours or so if you want to try to experience as much as possible of the game.I must say though, I would go as far as considering P4G the best J-RPG I have ever played in terms of the sheer amount of enjoyment I got out of the game. So, if you like J-RPGs, or already are a fan of the Persona series, this game is definately a system shop in my opinion. P4G is an absolutely ginormous game that was beautifully put together and is a stellar example of how to do re-makes properly.

The original Persona 4 released for the Playstation 2 in 2008 was already one of my favorite RPGs, so when a new, updated version of Persona 4 was announced, I knew I simply had to have it, even if I did not already own a Playstation Vita. I did exercise enough restraint to not buy the game before I had the appropriate hardware, but it was the first thing I bought when I finally did take the plunge on a Vita. I can easily say this is the best version of Persona 4 presently in existence. The story was expanded with many new cutscenes and 2 new Social Links, which added more Personas to acquire. The dungeon gameplay was adjusted to be more portable-friendly for gamers on the go, making it easier to avoid undesirable battles and changing the Shuffle Time post-battle event to include ways to increase EXP/money received as well as means to receive a small HP/SP restoration. While there are some additions I feel are unnecessary, like the online search function to receive support from other Persona 4 Golden playing people within wireless range of your Vita, they are easily outshined by everything this game does right. The only true honest complaint I ever had with this version of Persona 4 is that it was released on a handheld and not the Playstation 3. Everything else about it, though, is pure golden.

I played Persona 5, hated it. Could not get into it and I was so annoyed that everyone was telling me it was the rpg of our generation. Then i was told to try this and it was on sale on retrolio for 15 dollars so I said sure let’s go for it. I immediately fell in love with it and dumped 130 hours into this. The characters and the story are so captivating that it convinced me to try Persona 5 again, and I’m happy it did because I fell MORE in love with Persona 5. Don’t miss this game.

I’m going to keep this short, because talking about Persona can lead down many winding roads. If you’ve played the original, I believe this game will still offer sufficient content to warrant a new playthrough. With entirely new content like a couple of extra S. Links and a whole new dungeon, in addition to tweaking gameplay (like allowing players to choose what abilities inherit during fusion), Atlus has breathed new life into P4.Now, ignore that that last paragraph if it completely confused you. If you’ve never played or heard of Persona 4, but you’re interested in playing, I would recommend this version. If you are at all interested in JRPGs, character development, or story on any level I think you’re in for a great time. And don’t worry if you have no idea what you’re doing- features like Vox Populi, which can help steer you in a good direction by seeing how other players allocate their time, and Rescue Messages, which allow you to request help from other players for combat, can help even the most clueless player feel confident in what they’re doingIf you have a Vita, you should get this game. If you don’t, wait for the price on Vitas to crash and then buy this game

There is too much good things to say about this game so I will keep it as brief as possible. It has tons of Japanese charm and animation. The cut scenes are great anime, while most the story is told with in game models along side a mostly static animation of the character that is speaking. Great voice acting, still blown away by how much of the dialog is accompanied by voice acting. The game is half high-school sim / half JRPG that blends both together to = an amazing experience!!Didn’t think I would like the social high school part as much as I do, but it relates it to abilities and game play so well that it is hard not to enjoy. The story is clever and keeps you wanting more. The game takes place over the coarse of 365 days, and there is a lot of depth and variety to enjoy along the way. To say the game is huge is an understatement. If you have a PS VITA and you like RPG’s or JRPG’s, this is a MUST HAVE!! 5 STARS!!

This is seriously the best JRPG I’ve ever played. The story is clever and great, Teddie and Chie are some of the best characters in any game ever, the Final Fantasy-esque attack system is flawless, and it has a great mix of J-pop. (Click

Persona 4 Golden is definitely one of the Vita games that makes you NOT regret buying a Vita or not regret being a gamer. I only have 23 hours I’ve been playing this nonstop (I haven’t touched my ps3 in awhile lol). Now I have played persona games before but never got far enough to really get into it but Golden says to me you are gonna play me and LIKE IT. That OST just reeled me in and I like games where you can get closer with your allies especially the ladies :). Battle system is turn based so if you don’t like that then start liking it give this game a chance if you still are unsure about getting this then there are plently ot gameplay videos on youtube for you to look at before you make your choice. All I can say is i gave this game a chance because I did and I have no regrets I feel like Golden will keep me occupied for a long time this will be a game I keep in my collection for a long time. All I can give is positives for this game so take that money out of your wallet and buy it and remember no regrets right?. Heartbeat Heartbeat It keeps on pounding Heartbeat Heartbreak You tell me goodbye ^.^ man that song is catchy lol

Persona 4 is a cross between a high school sim and a dungeon crawler RPG. Arriving as a new student, our hero must make his way through high school, meeting new people, joining clubs, and solving a murder mystery that involves a hidden world full of dungeons to navigate and monsters to fight. Fortunately you’ve got your loyal band of friends to help you out.Fun, likeable characters, a positive tone, good music and sharp art make this a very enjoyable experience all around.

This game is extremely fun and I enjoy it and am still enjoying it after three months after my purchase. The game is challenging and not for the weak of heart. I really enjoy it and it’s one of those games where you have to pay attention to detail or you will fail. Most days it’s really easy to play a game but not this one. There are 5 hardness/easy settings to choose from. I chose regular and actually found it to hard to play so then I restarted and chose very easy. I don’t regret it as I still find the game fun and entertaining. Graphics of this are a little low but because it was ported from the playstation 2 it’s understandable. The loads of this game are quick, I don’t find myself waiting to go into an area, and the music in the game is actually good and doesn’t want to make you claw your ears off. This is my first serious RPG and I really am enjoying it- If a persona 5 comes out I’m buying it ASAP!!
